This course is offered as blended program with flexibility for busy vocational training professionals. Face-to-face workshops, held once monthly over 6 to 8 months, are supplemented by webinars or you can study fully online.
Attendance at workshops is not compulsory but is strongly encouraged: the opportunities for interaction, peer-learning and professional networking with other VET trainers and assessors is an invaluable added benefit to be gained from workshop attendance.
Extensive resources are provided via a private student portal so that you can access what you need when you need it. This flexible model allows you to enrol at any time and get your study underway. This rich resource is also available to you for up to one year after you have completed your training.
While the duration for this course is 12 months, some individuals may be able to complete course requirements in a shorter timeframe with demonstration of relevant skills, knowledge and experience.
Workshop program is delivered via a combination of work-based projects, online learning and face-to-face workshops over 6 to 8 months.

Entrants must have the core units of the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or be able to demonstrate equivalent competence. It is essential that applicants have current access to a training and assessment practice environment in the VET sector in order to fulfil practicum requirements. It is also highly recommended that applicants have more than six months’ equivalent full time experience working in a VET sector role. Applicants should be able to demonstrate high-level English language and literacy skills, as well as be able to access the Internet and use appropriate computer software in order to complete the course requirements.
