Are you eligible? Answer a few simple questions and find out now!

LATEST NEWS:  All Phillips Institute courses are now TUITION FEE FREE – just like TAFE – for Skills First funding eligible students!  This means you only pay the cost of resources and administration.

You may be eligible for the Skills First training subsidy, delivered with Victorian and Commonwealth Government funding, if you meet the following eligibility criteria:
You are: an Australian Citizen, or an Australian Permanent Resident (holder of a permanent visa), or a New Zealand Citizen and you are: an applicant seeking a higher qualification than the highest qualification already held˄.  If you are recently retrenched, or if you are an asylum seeker, and regardless of whether you meet the second set of the above criteria, you may still be eligible for funding assistance.

Funding eligibility criteria can be complex but our staff can confidently advise you. Please feel free to call us on 1300 558 837 for more information. Phillips Institute is approved to provide funded training under the Victorian Skills First program. This funded training must take place with a physical presence in Victoria.

Concession fees

Concession fees apply only to Skills First eligible applicants who also hold a current Health Care Card, Pension Card or other applicable concession card.  Concession eligible applicants are entitled to an 80% percent reduction in the student contribution!  If you are eligible, you are only required to pay 20% of the Skills First funded fees cost.  Diploma programs are excluded from this concession discount.
