Are you eligible? Answer a few simple questions and find out now!
LATEST NEWS: All Phillips Institute courses are now TUITION FEE FREE – just like TAFE – for Skills First funding eligible students! In addition, we have now been approved to offer JobTrainer funding for eight of our courses, so even if you don’t meet the Skills First upskilling requirement, you may be eligible for this Federal Government funding. If you’re eligible for one of these funding programs, you will only pay the cost of resources and administration. And even if you’re not eligible, our Full Fee for Service (non-funded) fees are very reasonably priced. We also offer easy payment plans, so you can spread your payments over the duration of your course. Check your eligibility now by completing this online checker:
You may be eligible for the Skills First training subsidy, delivered with Victorian and Commonwealth Government funding, if you meet the following eligibility criteria:
You are: an Australian Citizen, or an Australian Permanent Resident (holder of a permanent visa), or a New Zealand Citizen and you are: an applicant seeking a higher qualification than the highest Australian qualification already held˄.
If you are recently retrenched, or if you are an asylum seeker, and regardless of whether you meet the second set of the above criteria, you may still be eligible for funding assistance – please call us for more information about these options.
Funding eligibility criteria can be complex but our staff can confidently advise you. Please feel free to call us on 1300 558 837 for more information. Phillips Institute is approved to provide funded training under the Victorian Skills First program. This funded training must take place with a physical presence in Victoria.
Concession fees apply only to Skills First eligible applicants who also hold a current Health Care Card, Pension Card or other applicable concession card. Concession eligible applicants are entitled to a reduction in the student enrolment fee contribution! Diploma programs are excluded from this concession discount. (Please note: there is no further reduction in tuition fees required as we are not charging these in 2021).
